Here are some of my ideas for healing massachusetts

  • Move from the medical to the neurobiological model, especially related to mental health and substance use, impact of trauma on all things

  • Homelessness as protected status

  • Native plants everywhere and protected water with access for all

  • Elder/Home care

  • Policy that prioritizes local businesses and cooperatives over all other business models through incentives, to keep production and wealth local and well distributed

  • Address sexual assualt etc

  • ranked choice voting

  • easily searchable website where peer reviewed journals can choose to publiclhy share full academic articles for free, incentives?

  • housing first vs. housing readiness

  • make regulated cannabis more accessible than most other substances

  • free public website like etsy but where inhabitants can sell their homemade products, with no fee but with some restrictions

  • if an organization or business causes harm, through its products, services, treatment of staff, etc., it will need to reasonably resolve the issue to the harmed's needs or have xxxxx. Any employees at such an entity can vote for co-op or unions.

  • confident I can solve mass and cass

  • mlk through neurobiology

  • roads, bridges, utility poles

  • pcit alternative to dcf

  • Formula for calculating tax/paid benefits, etc.: standard 1/3 of pay for housing costs, so cost of average monthly rent in state x 3 x 12 months=annual salary limit at which people start being taxed on their income and having to pay for ben efits like healthcare. Every benefit costs $1 for people who make under that salary, or free. Submit yearly proof of income, nothing else. Reassess area living costs and individuals pay yearly

  • No part of public life should be left to the highest bidder. Research, proof, sustainability, and feasibility

  • direct contact for customer service required for each company/organization, as well as customer satisfaction surveys and effective client and staff grievance policies. cost of doing business in massachusetts: treat your staff and customers with the kindness and respect they need and deserve

  • Totally revamp mandatory reporting and dcf, planning board consisting of social workers inside and outside of dcf as well as people who have been both helped and harmed by dcf services

  • until abolition, improved training for police. In abolition, if police officers can pass transformative justice and trauma trainings, can possibly have role in crisis response teams.

    Crisis response facilities "HOPE"

  • Nurture nature

  • Until abolition, improved training for police. Once abolition, if police officers can pass transformative justice and trauma trainings, can possibly have role in crisis response teams. Otherwise, not fit for protecting public, neurobiology as proof

  • Commercial item testing agency

I have no personal desire to hold public office, I just want to help prevent and heal suffering, and I believe this plan can do that.

Whether or not I get the 10,000 signatures needed to be named on the ballot, I encourage you to advocate for any ideas you see mentioned in these pages, please just adhere to the core values above.

listening my whole life to the needs and joys of diverse people from diverse communities and backgrounds.

My legal first name is Rachel, a name my mother gave me in hopes that someday a man would love me as much as Jacob loved Rachel in the bible.

My chosen first name (and legal middle name) is Eva, named after my grandmother, a single mother and nurse who sang, rescued injured animals, and ate dessert before dinner.

I lived much of my life afraid of what people would think of me. I no longer feel that fear, and I just want to help others wherever and in whatever ways I can be most useful.

I've lived my whole life in fear, but I have grown so much, and for the first time in my life, I'm not afraid. Inspire others to raise their voices, too. Nothing will get better unless people with lived experience bring their expertise into government

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not" ****unless tattoo and lorax page photo******

I will drop out if at any point it seems like my candidacy is likely to sway the election towards someone with harmful social policies. And anyone who wants to is free to advocate for and implement any of the ideas suggested here, just please adhere to the original intent. I simply want to be wherever I'm most useful
